I love the silence of photography. Photography is a sketch, a creation, a temporary moment of rapture made permanent. The idea has no experience, stolen from its context, it either becomes arbitrary or is played out to give it significance. I am a voyeur in search of an honest translation. I am seduced by the details of light, contrast, and composition. Does the importance lie in what we take pictures of or why we take them? I have spent much time working with traditional wet lab chemistry, where art and science intersect, but I also enjoy using digital technology to push the rules of reciprocity. I am an artist with the idiosyncrasies of a scientist. Duality has always been a part of my life. I ground myself in reality, but daydream my nights away.
